Teresa Shenouda, MD (ophthalmologist) offers quality eye care with a friendly and personal touch. Dr. Shenouda believes that each patient is unique and should be given a personalized experience based on his/her eye care needs.
Dr. Shenouda is a certified ophthalmologist (Eye Surgeon) with fellowship training in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery. She is an assistant professor in the department of ophthalmology at Eastern Virginia Medical School where she supervises and teaches residents.
Dr. Shenouda offers general eye care including diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataract, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye, and eyelid disorders. In addition to offering general ophthalmic care, Dr. Shenouda also offers diagnosis and treatment for droopy eyelids including eyelid and brow lifts. She is also specialty trained to treat lumps and tumors around the eyes and within the eye socket. She has interest in treating patients with Graves disease or thyroid orbitopathy.
In addition to eye care, Dr. Shenouda also offers facial rejuvenation procedures including Botox, Juvederm, Restylane and Perlane as well as surgical procedures which improve bags around the eyes.
